Saved detail data is collected minimally, shared transparently, and kept under user control.
What We Collect
Recipo collects the minimum data needed to run prompts and keep your work available across sessions: your email address for sign-in, the pantry items you save (such as preferred tone, budget range, or travel style), your execution history and outcomes, and your purchased packs.
We do not scan the content of your prompts or AI outputs for advertising. Analytics are aggregated and never tied to individual prompt text.
How We Use Your Data
Your data serves three purposes: delivering the service you asked for (running prompts, saving context, completing purchases), improving prompt quality through aggregated usage patterns, and communicating account-related updates when necessary.
Pantry items auto-fill into prompts only when the recipe explicitly binds to them. We never inject your saved details into prompts without a visible binding.
Third-Party Sharing
When you execute a prompt through an external AI provider (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or others), the prepared prompt text is sent to that provider. The sharing scope is always disclosed on the execution screen before you confirm.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Recipo does not store card numbers or payment credentials directly.
Your Rights
You can view, edit, or delete your pantry items at any time from the Saved Details screen. You can request a full export of your data or permanent account deletion by contacting support through the safety report flow on any prompt page.
Data Retention and Security
Account data is retained while your account is active. After deletion, data is purged within 30 days except where required by law or for resolving disputes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
